West Plains Schools encourages interaction from Facebook users but is not responsible for comments or wall postings made by visitors to the page. Comments posted also do not in any way reflect the opinions or policies of the district.
People making comments on the page are requested to show respect for their fellow users by ensuring the discussion remains civil, especially since Facebook allows individuals 13 and over to join. Comments are also subject to Facebook’s Terms of Use and Code of Conduct.

West Plains School District Posting Guidelines
We welcome your comments as a means of sharing your own experiences, suggesting improvements or chiming in on the conversation. To keep our page focused, we have set some comment guidelines.
This page is moderated and all comments are reviewed by the West Plains School District Communications Director.
To ensure exchanges that are informative, respectful of diverse viewpoints and lawful, we will not allow comments that are or include:
- Off Topic. We will delete comments not related to the subject of the page entries.
- Spam. Comments focused on selling a product or service will not be posted.
- Personal Attacks. If you disagree with a post, we'd like to hear from you. We do ask that you refrain from personal attacks or being disrespectful of others.
- Illegal. Laws that govern use of copyrights, trade secrets, etc., will be followed.
- Language. Comments including but not limited to: profane or provocative language, hateful, racially or ethnically offensive or derogatory content, threats, obscene or sexually explicit language will be deleted.
- Links to outside websites. We will not allow fans to include links to websites for any purpose.

Thanks for a great turnout tonight. The English/Language Arts parent night was a huge hit. 5th grade provided the wax museum while the 6th grade previewed their original children's books. 7th grade had a "poetry slam" and 8th grade showed some family history with their family tree projects. Thanks to all the parents, students, and teachers that made this a huge success. Go Zizzers!!!

The Honor Choirs performed Tuesday at WPMS. They did an amazing job. Proud of these students and a special thanks to Mr. Hall and Mrs. Dame. It was a great performance.

Please join the WPMS English/Language Arts Department on Monday, February 27th for our February Parents' Night. 5th grade students will have their annual "Night at the Wax Museum" activities in the FEMA Gym. 6th grade students will display their original children's books in the library. 7th grade will host a "Poetry Slam" for students in the upstairs gym. The 8th grade students will display their work on their family tree projects throughout the hallways. The building opens at 5:30. We hope to see you there!!
