Longtime breeders of horses, angus cattle & golden retrievers view our animals @ www.hughespaints.com We are longtime breeders of APHA horses, cattle (Angus) and AKC golden retrievers. We are a small breeding program only breeding 1-2 horses a year and we have several Golden Retriever litters a year in which we accept deposits to hold a pup from a litter for you. Our Goldens are AKC registered and meet all aspects of the breed, our females are from our original lines that we had OFA certs done on them and our male has OFA certs in his lines as well. Our dogs are pets NOT kennel dogs & come with health records & puppy kits. Pups all have a series of wormings & 1st vaccine when they are ready to go "home". We take pride in breeding beautiful healthy goldens many of which are not just companions but therapy & service dogs making a difference in other folks lives too. I just want to THANK ALL the wonderful families I just meet who have given one of our Bella X Zeke puppies a great loving home, I can't stress enough what great people I have met over the years due to this loving breed of dog, THANK YOU to all of you & thank you so much for posting photos & all the referrals!!!

This was their 1st time outside over the weekend, they LOVED it, I have had them out in their playpen everday since. Final worming & 1st vaccine tomorrow so everyone will be ready to go, I have started to schedule families for pick up. Your puppy will come home with AKC papers, health records, Purina puppy kits, bag of purina puppy chow & a blanket with Bella's scent on it. Looking forward to meeting ALL of the families on Bella's waiting list see you soon.

Here's the girls from Bella X Zeke litter, it's looks like we're going to have 2 medium golden & 2 dark golden girls. Everyone is doing great, I have started them on Purina Puppy Chow which is what they will be on at pickup, you will get a puppy kit with your new puppy & just know if you are going to switch foods you will need to wean them or they may get a loose stool for a few days, it's better to wean them gradually so they can adjust. I would like to tell everyone we DO NOT recommend raw hides of ANY type as they are a choking/blockage hazzard, please if your going to get chew toys please get the brand made by KONG as puppies/adult dogs can chew apart certain toys & they can cause serious harm to the intestines, etc. As I stated in the last post we are looking at a pickup date around the end of April but I do schedule pickups in the order that I received deposits so it may take time to schedule EVERYONE in for pickup, I like to spend time with each family so I get to know them & where our puppies are going:) We do REQUIRE CASH upon pick NO checks. The AKC papers are back so I'm just waiting on the puppies kits I ordered & they are scheduled for their final worming & 1st vaccine before pickup. I do recommend that you schedule a puppy wellness check with you own vet as I send you home with health records that go to YOUR vet so they can see what has been done & when. I am looking forward to meeting everyone & I'm hoping the weather gets nicer SOON so the potty training isn't so cold & muddy, lol.

Here's a photo of the boys from Bella X Zeke litter, the are 5 1/2 weeks old. ALL 3 males have nice box heads like Zeke, 2 look like they will be light golden & 1 medium golden.
Bella X Zeke litter update, the kids had a 2nd worming 4/1/2016 everyone did well & growing like weeds, lol. I will TRY to get photos of males & females each gender seperately this weekend for everyone. I'm thinking they should be ready to go home around the last weekend in April but I will update & contact EVERYONE individually as to make appointments in order that your on the list.

I have had quit a few folks asking if ALL pups from this litter Bella X Zeke are spoken for & they are, we are taking deposits for the next litter which will be Mila, but she has NOT cycled yet so I can't give a date on this litter as of yet. I will probably only take 2 more deposits for her paricular litter but you are welcome to call/write/text me for info., on how the waiting list works.
