Congratulations to Peter Cappaert, Kelly Thompson and Hannah Johnson who were selected to attend the World Food Prize Iowa Youth Institute and recognized at a luncheon with state leaders in attendance, including the Lt. Governor. The students will find out in June if they will advance to the WFP Global Youth Institute. Once accepted into the global institute, students have the opportunity to earn prestigious internships with opportunities to work with renowned scientists and scholars from around the world. Best of luck to these outstanding DCHS students!
2017 Post Prom
Be a HIGH ROLLER & support Post Prom! Volunteers are needed to make this event a success! Held at DCHS on May 13, 11:30 p.m. - 3 a.m. Students must arrive by 12:15 a.m. and are expected to stay until the end. This year's casino themed event will have gaming tables, food trucks, a coffee bar, hypnotist, karaoke, tattoo station, bubble ball soccer, human foosball & amazing prizes. Open to all juniors, seniors & their guests, regardless if they attend prom. All-inclusive tickets will be sold the week of Prom at DCHS. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation. Student tickets cover food & drink, and your financial support makes the entertainment, prizes & fun possible. Please visit www.dowlingcatholic.org/donatenow & select Post Prom in the drop-down. Opening night is tomorrow! Don't miss Disney & Cameron Mackintosh's Mary Poppins, presented by the DCHS Performing Arts Department! April 27 & 28 at 7:30 p.m. and April 29 at 2 & 7:30 p.m. in the DCHS auditorium. Tickets are currently available in the President's Office or can be purchased at the door.
