From Deacon Brad Hentz: Thank you all for your generous outpouring of donations, prayers, and conversation around today's fundraising effort for the International Justice Mission. After speaking with many of you, it is clear that human trafficking and child labor are concerns on our collective hearts. It is a blessing to know that I "battle" this issue in solidarity with my St. Irene community. Many today expressed their awareness of this issue but were challenged to find an outlet to take action or wanted more information. If you are one of these people, let me help you get started. Following are some of the ways you can become informed and take action: 1. www.productsofslavery.org 2. "The Dark Side of Chocolate" documentary on YouTube: www.youtube.com/watch?v=15dJwA-xaVA 3. www.ijm.org (International Justice Mission site) 4. Donate to my fundraiser: https://fundraising.ijm.org/campaign/3552/ Peace, Deacon Brad Hentz
