Please help us protect your health and our patients, families, and associates from the flu. Visitor restrictions go into effect at all Ascension Michigan hospitals starting Monday, Feb 4. Before you visit your loved one keep in mind, Ascension visitor restrictions include the following: • All visitors must be 14 years of age or older. • Visitors should be healthy – free from fever, cough, colds or stomach virus symptoms. • No more than two visitors will be allowed to visit with a patient at any one time. • We are also asking visitors to remember to wash their hands or use hand sanitizer before, during and after visiting. Visitor restrictions will remain in effect until further notice. Thank you for your help protecting our patients!

A message to visitors: Please help us protect your health and our patients All Ascension Michigan hospitals are putting visiting restrictions and precautions into place at its inpatient facilities to help protect patients, families, employees and the public during the heightened influenza outbreak occurring in Michigan and across the country. Checklist: • Please do not visit the hospital if you are feeling unwell and have any cold or flu-like symptoms. • We ask that you limit the number of visitors to two per patient at any one time. • Children are at greatest risk of spreading and being likely to acquire infections. Visitors must be at least 12 years of age. In some locations and on some floors with patients more susceptible to infection, the age restriction may be 14 or higher. These exceptions will be posted at the facility. • Visitors are asked to follow the advice of caregivers if asked to take other precautions. • Remember to wash your hands or use hand sanitizer before, during and after visiting. We ask that visitors cooperate with and self-monitor these precautions for the sake of the health of the community, visitors, patients and hospital workers. Thank you!
