Description
Fostering imagination and creativity for all members of the Medomak region of midcoast Maine Medomak Arts Project fosters imagination and creativity for all members of the Medomak region by providing arts education, celebration, and promotion.
By partnering with artists and local organizations to carry out this work, Medomak Arts hopes to encourage more resilient and economically competitive communities on Maine’s midcoast, develop a strong sense of creative placemaking, encourage arts engagement, and strengthen cultural awareness.
Medomak Arts believes that through this work, the region will become a place where all community members have the chance to cultivate their imagination and creativity.

Medomak Arts is a community arts center in Waldoboro . Our mission is to foster community and creativity for all memers of this region. This is a place where all community members have the chance to connect and cultivate their creativity. Medomak Arts highlights the region's cultural, creative, and historical assets to build both greater awareness and a creative sense of place. In addition to art's education, Medomak Arts serves as an "imagination box" featuring public and private events organized by local townspeople, helping to develop meaningful creative placemaking.
