Thanks to all the wonderful people who prepared the church grounds for the Yard Sale on Saturday 8/26. We had a spectacular day weather-wise and many many folks came to browse, shop, bargain and enjoy themselves. We are so grateful to all who stored items, to those who donated items and those who came later to put everything back in order.

We invite you all to come together to pray for an end to racism, anti-Semitism, and all forms of bigotry at a Community Prayer Service for Equality, Justice, and Peace on Wednesday, August 23rd from 4 -4:45 at First Congregational Church of Wakefield, UCC. Let us truly love our neighbors, as the great scriptures of Jewish and Christian tradition teach us.

Our hearts break that we are daily hearing about the possibility of nuclear war, and that white supremacists are marching in the streets in Charlottesville.
