We recently received kudos for Maria Larsen, a member of the Waco Convention Center team: "I wanted to pass on my thanks for some great service I received from Maria yesterday. I am an exhibitor upstairs at the Nelson Wholesale trade show. She was able to secure for me a hand cart to make load in from street level and set up much easier on a very hot day. I really appreciate the extra mile she went to make my experience as a visitor to Waco much more enjoyable. Thank you for having such great people like Maria on your team!" Sincerely, Brian Buses

I-35 northbound mainlane traffic from 4th Street to 18th Street, in Waco Texas, will shift to the southbound mainlanes for approximately 2 months beginning TODAY, July 16 at 7 p.m., weather permitting. Alternating lane closures on the northbound lanes will occur until all lanes are switched. This work will allow crews to install drainage features across the interstate. Northbound and southbound traffic will be reduced to two lanes in each direction. All exits will remain open during this work. Slow down and watch for shifting lanes! #My35
