Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault is not gender specific. It affects men also. Although society makes men believe that its something they can't talk about or get help for. Society is 100% wrong. I am going to say that it is ok to talk about and nothing to be ashamed of. Breaking The Chains is for men also. We will have men share how this affected their lives and how they received help to heal. Men you are welcomed and I encourage you to come. VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! Daniels Den Community Center is need of volunteers. If you have an interest in giving back to our community, Daniels Den is the perfect place to give your time at. We are currently in need of volunteers to help at the reception area, educators to assist in ESL and GED classes, janitorial assistance, and to assist in the following programs: arts, graphic arts (printing), sewing, nutrition, and music. 2018 YEAR OF RELEASE So excited about what God is doing! BREAKING THE CHAINS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AND SEXUAL ASSAULT! In this conference you will hear and see amazing testimonials of men and women that have survived domestic violence and sexual assaults that almost took their lives. You will be given the tools to learn how to break the chains before its too late and you will learn the importance of self care. Along with all the resources every attendee will be able to register for 1 self defense class given by Marquito Jitsu, the first 40 attendees will receive a special self care gift, and 5 lucky attendees will go home with the newly released book Shoes For Yana written by Addriana Montalvo.
