Dear VCUSD Team, This morning we learned about the senseless act of vandalism that took place at the Widenmann / Solano campus. True to the spirit of the VCUSD community, a team came together to clean up the mess. We should be proud of the dedicated and committed staff who serve our students daily. The VCUSD maintenance team deserves a great deal of credit for their professionalism. This very unfortunate incident will not damper our opening day of school! Thank you, Adam Clark

Special event this evening that highlighted Vallejo’s community spirit. The Summer Academy for Language Learners partnered with recent high school graduates to serve as tutors for Vallejo students. The partnership extended to parents who were able to participate in classes to learn strategies to navigate the educational system. A special thank you to all that spurted this partnership.
