facebook.comAerial Yoga Flexibility Workshop (with Lorianna) Sat, March 24 (1-3 pm) $45 per person Have you always wanted to increase your flexibility? Find time for your muscles to relax and unwind from the day. Join us for some nice stretches in supportive and soft aerial yoga fabric. Let go of daily stress and let your body melt into the fabric. We will LOWER the fabrics to help you stretch further. Take time out for yourself to let go of tension and bring in some calmness and release in your muscles. All abilities and levels welcome.
Sync Up with Spring Workshop (with Tina Clay and Megan Kramer) $40 per person Sync yourself up with the rhythm of Spring. In this 3-hour workshop, we will stoke our inner fire with a short walk and meditation in nature, followed by green smoothies. We will then discuss making healthy smoothies, with demo and samples provided. Then, end with a nice gentle flow yoga class and seated meditation in the studio. Spring is the Kapha Season of Ayurveda Wellness. Kapha is cold and wet which dampens digestive fire. So, it’s a great time to do some “spring cleaning” and reset our inner fires! You will leave this workshop feeling ready to take on Spring with your highest positive vibration.

Acu-Yoga This workshop integrates the knowledge of two ancient holistic methods of health maintenance: Acupressure and Yoga. It uses yoga postures and flows while stimulating “potent points” along the acupressure meridians with your fingers, wrists, feet, or even just your body weight. Combining these two complimentary practices of self-treatment results in increased effectiveness when addressing many health issues. Michelle Strand is a certified Health Coach from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York. She is also co-owner of Fit Side of 40. (In this workshop, she will give you a one-on-one health consultation. Learn how to listen to your body, nourishing it with foods that will have you feeling and looking your best. Discovering how to say goodbye to sugar cravings, brain fog, lack of energy, insomnia, and much more.) Ellen Simonin is certified in Acu-Yoga by the Acupressure Institute in Berkeley, CA. She also has a degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Colorado. (In this workshop, she will scan you for levels of antioxidants, which are determined by your stress levels and nutrition. Get scanned each month for 3 months to see progress.)
Day Before Valentine’s FREE CLASS Yin Yoga Bliss (Aromatherapy) Tues, Feb 13 (7 pm – 8:15 pm) Celebrate Valentine's Day a day early. This could be your Valentine’s present to yourself. Whatever your plans are for Valentine’s Day, you deserve some peace and calmness the day before. Come join us for this FREE class. The energy represented in “yin” and “yang” is derived from the Chinese Taoist tradition. Our yin side is at peace with how things are with a quiet acceptance, representing our bones and connective tissues. Our yang side strives for change that makes us think we are never good enough, held in our skin and muscles. Deep stretches are held for 3 to 5 minutes, gently stretching connective tissues, leaving you in a wonderful state of bliss.
Glow and Flow 80’s Theme Yogalates Class (with Christina & Maddy) $25 per person Please pre-register since spaces are limited. Turn back time and wear your 80’s neon headbands, hair scrunchies, off the shoulder shirts, and leg warmers. Join us for an 80’s themed vinyasa yoga and pilates class with black lights, disco lights, large raffle prizes, and wine and refreshments after. We will give you free black light glowing necklaces, bracelets, anklets, and glow paint! See you at this totally tubular, gnarly, for sure, rad 80s yoga party!
This vinyasa 1 yoga class is designed by a runner/cyclist. It packs serious perks for runners/cyclists, like improving flexibility, easing aches and pains, and helping you recover from long runs and races faster. It relieves soreness and tension in your hardworking muscles and restores range of motion so you can run better the next time you hit the road. Non-runners/cyclists are welcome to join too! This is a one-time special class. Regular class price.
$25 per person Abhyanga is an Ayurvedic practice of daily self-massage. Both dry or oil massage tones your tissue, improves your sleep, stimulates your lymph, promotes longevity, strengthens your immune system, improves your joint mobility, and even synthesizes self-esteem from the inside out which amplifies your confidence. In this workshop you will use your hands as your body’s ultimate healing tool. Start with a 30-minute yoga gentle flow. Followed by a guided 30-minute self-massage, ending with calming pranayama (breathwork) with a nice long relaxing savasana. We will also discuss and discover doshas, learning what yoga body type you are (Vata, Pitta, or Kapha). So, we know what oils work for you. Please wear an old pair of shorts and a loose baggy t-shirt, if you want to use essential oils on yourself. You are also welcome to do this workshop without using oils.
