Legacy Dance Centre is Tucker Georgia's premier dance studio that delivers top notch dance instruction to enthusiasts of all ages. Legacy Dance Centre was founded by Melinda Watson and Melissa Cox who are natives of Germantown, TN where their love for the arts began. Melissa and Melinda were trained in dance and gymnastics since the age of 4. They went on to become Atlanta Falcons Cheerleaders for 5 seasons. Melinda also danced for the Memphis Grizzlies for 2 seasons. Melissa was selected by her teammates for the Performer of the Year Award for 2 seasons and was chosen Rookie of the Year as a Georgia Force Cheerleader. Melinda received Rookie of the year for the Atlanta Falcons Cheerleaders and Performer of the Year for her 2nd season. Melissa was also selected as a member of the Aaron’s Nascar Dream Team, which she served for 3 years. Melissa and Melinda have 40 years of combined dance experience consisting of training, teaching, choreographing and performing. Eventually, their love of dance and teaching led them to create, Legacy Dance Centre. Melissa is a graduate of Georgia State University and Melinda is a graduate of University of Tennessee Knoxville.
