Scammers using "official" IRS stationary to try to take advantage of the innocent elderly (relatives). Phone calls to the house by different people to further paint the picture of potential windfall. Pretty elaborate. To get ~$2 million, they had to pay taxes first (~$167,000) that they would get back later. Minor vocabulary issues in the text were an additional cue if the absurdity of the context weren't enough to begin with. They went to the police and immediately the problem stopped but if you have elderly relatives.....

Spring flowers...they're "ok." Fall foliage...makes the blood flow and the heart beat louder. Amsonia hubrectii. Not one person has ever come to the nursery asking for this beautiful deer proof trouble free perennial. This plant is twenty years old.

When Lucy, the superb nursery dog, died in July 2014, I asked our vets Jeff Santee of Countryside Animal Hospital, and Michelle Lemothe of Broad River Animal Hospital what breed to get for a long happy life, and a disease free existance. From dessicated wasteland to lush verde in a few days with white birch landscape design (not to mention some sweat and diesel fuel). Native nyssa sylvatica will soon turn a brilliant crimson red. Perfect timing with the coming rains.

Four days after hydroseeding we have a baby lawn helped in part by nightly dew forming on all surfaces outdoors. Sure beats yard work in the spring.
