At Community Hospital we believe in creating a first rate patient experience. Welcome to Community Hospital. Opening in 1977 as a critical access hospital we pride ourselves on providing excellent medical care to residents in southeast Wyoming and bordering Nebraska communities.
Community Hospital builds on a tradition of excellent patient care while offering the latest in healthcare technology. Our digital mammography offers women the latest in technology to best detect breast cancer in early stages. In 2010, the hospital built a 3,700-square-foot, state-of-the-art Emergency department and in 2014 added the Telestroke program to give stroke patients the fastest care possible.
Along with an electronic medical records system, Community Hospital also offers an intelligent OB program. This computerized system is designed to reduce the chances of complications during labor and delivery. We also completed an expansion that included two private labor and delivery suites, new operating room for women's services, nurses's stations, triage room and additional post-partum room in 2014.
