Growing people and community through the Arts. TRAHC is a people-building and community-building organization – a leadership organization of arts and ideas that works to create an energized, creative, connected community.
Formed in 1978 by community leaders with generous assistance from the Junior League of Texarkana, TRAHC’s goals were to protect, develop, take advantage of, and provide all citizens with access to our own cultural resources. As we have progressed, the “arts” have also proven to be a wise economic investment as well as a tourism stimulus. TRAHC is both a presenter and a preserver of historical legacies for the Perot Theatre and the Regional Arts Center.

Looking for activities for you and your young artist to do this Fall? . TRAHC offers art experiences for all ages through hands-on classes, workshops, and camps at our Arts on Main facility. These programs offer the opportunity for participants to work with local and professional artists. This is a great chance to have fun while learning about art! . Thank you to everyone who came out to support the 12 local art teachers featured in the Area Art Educators exhibit! . The last day of the exhibit is Saturday, October 28, so be sure to stop by. . The Regional Arts Center is open Tuesdays through Saturdays from 10 AM until 4 PM. Admission is always free.
Support your local schools' art teachers! . Join TRAHC and twelve area K-12 art educators for the opening reception of the Area Art Educators Exhibit tonight from 6:30 pm to 8 pm. . The reception will be held at the Regional Arts Center located at 321 4th Street, Texarkana, TX 75501. . Refreshments and drinks will be served. This family-friendly event is FREE and open to the public!
