Yesterday the Lodges of Texas Elks Central District 8480 held their annual Sweetheart Picnic where the four Sweethearts turned in their fundraising reports for the year. A combined total of over $15,000 was raised by the Sweethearts benefitting the Children with Special Needs Elks Kids Camp in Ottine Texas. It is with great pride that I announce that Anna was crowned as the Central District Sweetheart. I couldn't be prouder of the work that she did this year in support of the children and we couldn't be more grateful to the many Elks and Does that came together and were instrumental in helping her this year making this recognition possible. You guys are top shelf. Thank you
