This Sunday Rev. Christana is in the pulpit and will lead us in our journey of Emergence. This weeks sermon is titled: Emergence: Exodus and the Desert. This week, as the Jewish holiday of Passover draws to a close, we will reflect on the lessons from the Israelites as they left their past behind them in Egypt and ventured into a new land. While wandering in the desert is not usually the goal, it is something that all of us do from time to time. What does it mean for us to emerge to new places, and how can we use our time in the desert?

Join us this Sunday as Rev. Christana leads us in our discussion about balance. Her sermon is titled: Living a balanced life, and will be about: Most of us have places that we would call our “comfort zone”, that which is familiar and known to us. And while having a comfort zone is important, it is also important to sometimes walk out of that zone and try something that is new and different, for it is in these experiences that we often find the most growth. Join us this Sunday as we talk about how we can live a balanced life trying new things, and bringing our own best selves to the world.

Today's FAQ is: How would you characterize your religion? Not only do we have a hopeful & optimistic attitude about life, we believe strongly that humans have great potential to recognize right, correct wrongs, find solutions and make this a better world. Rather than feel bound by human weaknesses & frailties, we emphasize human strengths. We believe people have the strength, power & intelligence to make good things happen. You might call it a "can do" religion.
