Here's something we are seeing more of: People buying props online, or from mass marketers, and ending up with stuff that doesn't fit and/or doesn't work on their boats. In this case, customer brought a "universal" prop from a fine place that knows a lot about electronics, rope, cushions, etc but not much about props. It's completely wrong for the 25 Honda--you can see where the prop doesn't even fit into the gearcase. We sold the customer a Michigan Match prop that fits properly. So buyer beware--and buy your props from a prop shop. You will save time, money and hassle in the long and short run (and we will stay out of the electronics, rope and cushion business).

Lots of boaters seem to use their propeller or lower unit as a depth finder (thanks to them, we are in business). Along with propellers, we fix quite a few skegs on outboard and stern drive lower units. Here's a lineup from a recent busy day, several skegs properly TIG welded and primed and ready to install and paint.

This is pure artistry. We are blessed to have 2 of the best welders in Tampa, Rick and Andrew, both long time employees of Admiral/C&B Propeller. This propeller came in completely torn up. Rick welded up the broken areas. We will then refinish and reshape and within a few hours it will look better than new. But this weld looks too good to grind on!
