Florida State University College of Education
Description
The Florida State University College of Education, Florida's oldest continuous site of Higher Education. Student focused, innovation driven. "You will find in Tallahassee an intelligent, warm-hearted, hospitable people and one already disposed to regard you with affection.” — Francis Eppes
The words of a champion of Tallahassee ring truer now than when he uttered them 150 years ago. And at the College of Education, they echo through our halls. Here, caring hearts and great minds welcome scholars into a unique environment where they begin their journey leading society toward a better future. As Florida’s oldest continuous site of higher learning, Florida State University educates the citizenry of our democracy – the fondest hope of Francis Eppes as instilled in him by his grandfather, President Thomas Jefferson
