Pedigree Foundation Website: www.pedigreefoundation.org Program: Animal-Related State: National Maximum Grant: $25,000 Deadline: May 2, 2016 The Pedigree Foundation is accepting applications for its 2016 grant program to support dog shelters and rescue groups. All applicants for PEDIGREE Foundation grants must be organizations that have a current 501(c)(3) designation from the Internal Revenue Service. There are three grant programs. Applications may be submitted for more than one program, but only one grant will be awarded to an organization in any grant cycle. Innovation Grants ($10,000 to $25,000), for innovative programs focusing on the development and initial implementation of creative programs that increase the number of canine adoptions. Capital requests will be considered. Program Development Grants ($1,000 to $10,000), to implement new programs or support the expansion of current programs that increase their numbers of canine adoptions. Operation Grants (up to $1,000) Requests may be for general operating expenses, including facility/structure renovation or upkeep, veterinary expense, transportation, or any other expense that helps with the adoption of more dogs. Please review the restrictions in the guidelines for each grant program. Be advised that the grants do not provide support for the following: Event sponsorships Debt reduction or operating deficits Grants to individuals Endowment funding Go directly to guidelines and application
