Home of the Emma Kelly Theater, four art galleries with rotating exhibits, workshops, classes, summer camps, performances, and rental opportunities! Our mission here at The Averitt Center for the Arts is to provide quality arts opportunities for our community and to serve as a centerpiece for a vibrant, historic downtown.
We are proud to offer professional exhibit seasons in the Main Gallery, a professional performance season in the Emma Kelly Theater, and community/special events and exhibits throughout the year!
Don't forget about our wide array of classes and workshops, our private voice and art studios that offer lessons, and summer camps to fit every child's creative side!

SUMMER HOURS: The Averitt Center galleries are open during regular business hours (10 am - 7 pm) on MONDAYS during the summer!
