Cinco de Mayo Festival on Cherokee Street The Cinco De Mayo Festival on Cherokee Street is one of the largest festivals in the St. Louis area, bringing together over 45,000 attendees to celebrate the rich culture and artistic community on Cherokee Street and surrounding South St. Louis City neighborhoods.
This years’ festival will take place on Saturday, May 7th 2016 from 11:00am to 9:00pm on Cherokee Street, between Nebraska and Jefferson Street.
The festival will pack the street with people enjoying authentic food, drinks, music, entertainment, art and merchandise. The People’s Joy Parade presented by Community Arts and Movement Project will begin at its traditional time of 1:11 PM and has become a festival highlight and beloved celebration of community.
