My friend Zach Becker is one of the kindest, strongest, most wonderful individuals I know. Zach has kidney failure and even when the odds are stacked against him, he continues smiling, making jokes, and dedicating his life to the happiness of others. Yesterday I accompanied Zach on one of his surgeries and got to document his strength, his scars, and his process. As I sat in the lobby and waited for the doctor to come out and tell me Zach was awake, I thought about how much I wanted to be like him. Zach is a level of strong and optimistic that we should all aspire to be. He's seriously a superhero. Thank you for allowing me to be on this journey with you <3
