Pupdates: Even through new eyes, we see the same beautiful things. Friends, the latest adoption event was very special. I personally wasn't able to be there, but I certainly perked up and noticed something neat. We have a few new volunteers. One of the new volunteers must also share my love for photography. As I sat down to look through the photos to share from last week's event, I couldn't help notice how terrific this round of pictures is. One of our new volunteers was able to capture some pretty endearing moments. Please enjoy these adorable moments. And I'm sure we'll soon be sharing some adoption photos. Especially if we use some of these pictures for the adoption listings... :) Best, All of us here at FCIA

Pupdates: "That's the way they all became the haircut bunch..." Yes, that's what song popped into my head when I saw these wonderful pictures along with this update note from the girls' parents: - "The girls just got their first haircuts today and we seem to have entirely different dogs! They are ensconced in our summer home in NY and love racing around on the grass." I loved the pictures so much and just had to ask for a little more about their story. Get this. The family that Cleo and Sabrina found their forever homes with had two sisters waiting for them at their new home. And here's the kicker. All four of them started their new life being rescued by us here at FCIA. Now I know that was a bit ago. But like mom said, with the spiffy haircuts, they look like four completely new pups. So, with the new haircuts, and learning more about their family's love for pets all the way back to when the family knew Penny Adams Fcia, this is the type of story that just feels so happy and new each new day. Thanks for the pictures, Best, All of us here at FCIA

Pupdates: A pup, by any other name, may still always be a pup. But when a pup recognizes their name being called, it must be a pup well loved... We couldn't be happier to see how Arlo is settling in. And there's not much better than when a pup starts to respond to his new parents in ways they recognize as unique. Check out this latest update from Arlo's new home: "Arlo is responding to his name now and is learning to take treats gently from our hands and to wait patiently for his meals. He is a very quick learner! He loves playing with his toys and enjoys walks around the neighborhood and especially loves to go to the park. His eyes are looking very good and seems to be healthy, happy and full of energy. He had his first trip to the groomer on Saturday and got a handsome new haircut. He is just such a joy to have as part of our family!!!" Best, All of us at FCIA

Pupdates: And just like that...Tommy makes his new home, his. :) This was pretty quick. Well, I guess when its right, its just right. Take look at how settled in Tommy is getting with his new digs. From a friend: "He's been great! Exploring the house and yard and going for walks around the neighborhood. His little dog bed has become his favorite resting place - sleeping there all night (and after a long afternoon...)" Best, All of us here at FCIA

Pupdates: When you meet "that special ONE," the "TWO" of you just know it immediately... Tom and Tommy have met, bonded, and combined...lol There's no mistaking when two souls meet and feel connected. And in the happy case of Tom and Tommy, they can get twice the deal on monogrammed towels and snugly seasonal sweaters. :) And we say that, only because we're looking forward to holiday pictures over the happy years to come. Pupdates: Snuggling, is always a good sign.... Friends, WOW! Its been a about a month since I've, (Matthew,) been moving and had my computer down. But, WOW!! What a perfect time to be up and running again right when a couple of great stories come along. Arlo has found his new family. And a family with a brother, Jack, to boot. Best of friends from the get go, just take a look at how happy Arlo's new family is about welcoming him: "t’s going so well!!! He and Jack are already snuggling and sharing a bed! They’ve been playing so nicely together too. We are so happy! Arlo is just the sweetest happiest little guy... he’s the perfect addition to our family. Thank you again for all you do! If it weren’t for the work your organization does we would have never had the opportunity to meet this sweet soul." We wish them all the happiness. Best, All of us here at FCIA

Pupdates: "Live from New York, its... well maybe not SNL. But its...Mr. Bill and friends...." Wow, Cleo is settling in to her new home and family just wonderfully. Now we know that Cleo and Sabrina were delighted to find out that their two siblings, Rosie and Ivy, also started their journey to their forever home while in the care of FCIA. What we didn't know, is that all four girls had a superstar friend. Mr. Bill is traditionally known for saying, "Oh...Nnnoooo..." However, I think its all "Yes, this is aawweesomee!!!" judging from how much fun they are all having. And of course, nothing beats a day of playing with new friends and family quite like relaxing together at the end of that perfect day. Best, All of us here at FCIA

Greeting Penny Adams Fcia and FCIA friends, My name is Matthew J Kuhlman. Many, or some of you might know me as the guy who shares pictures and stories on the Foundation for the Care of Indigent Animals, (FCIA,) Facebook page, and often I cross post them on the original Penny Adams Fcia page. They are the same entity, simply different "crowds" of folks who like to keep in touch with each other and share their experiences. Please read ahead and see if this is applicable to you. It seems there has been a bit of confusion as to how to contact the wonderful ladies at FCIA pertaining to different needs. I would like to remind everyone that both the Penny Adams Fcia and the FCIA Facebook pages are for sharing and updating happy photos and stories. And please feel free to share and connect as you like. All formal inquiries, concerns, and/or questions, however, should be directed to the www.fcianimals.org website. I have just checked, and the phone number 619.466.9137 is working and messages will be answered in a timely manner. On the FCIA Facebook page, I will try to answer or direct any questions. However, please keep in mind that while my role with f volunteer work WITH the Foundation, my role on on the social media would certainly afford me the ability to answer a few of your questions, being able to do more and more with FCIA would at a minimum allow me to direct you to the appropriate personnel. Best, And thank you for all of your continued support, Matthew J Kuhlman, on behalf of the FCIA team
