*Pasco County Irma-related debris removal map now available *Interactive map shows real-time updates of debris removal progress: http://arcg.is/2wSHdN5 #PascoCounty has a new, interactive tool for you to track Hurricane Irma-related storm debris removal. The map is available on Pasco County’s website: www.pascocountyfl.net or by clicking this link: http://arcg.is/2wSHdN5. The county is divided into debris removal sections (4 square miles each). Yellow boxes indicate the areas crews are working in. Clicking on the yellow boxes will also show how much debris has been collected from that particular area. Crews are working 12 hours a day, seven days a week and will continue to do so until all storm-related debris is collected. Note: crews began work in the most heavily-damaged areas, where there were immediate life-safety issues. If you haven’t already done so, you can register for storm-related debris pick-up on Pasco County’s website or directly through the MyPasco App.

*FEMA to attend town hall-style meeting for Pasco residents impacted by Hurricane Irma *Monday, 9.25.2017 in New Port Richey from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Representatives from #PascoCounty Emergency Management and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) are hosting a town hall-style meeting on Monday, September 25, 2017, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., in the first-floor boardroom of the West Pasco Government Center, 8731 Citizens Drive, New Port Richey, Florida, 34654. All Pasco County residents impacted by Hurricane Irma are invited to attend and ask questions of FEMA, Pasco County Emergency Management representatives and disaster relief program experts. FEMA will explain their Individual Assistance program for hurricane recovery and residents will be able to register for assistance at the event.

DEBRIS DROP-OFF LOCATIONS: East Pasco Transfer Station, 9626 Handcart Rd, Dade City West Pasco Resource Recovery, 14606 Hays Rd, Spring Hill Both locations are open Monday through Saturday, from 7 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. They will also be open this Sunday, September 24, 2017 from 7 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Fees for storm debris will continue to be waived until further notice. #PascoCounty donation sites for #Irma will close Monday, 9/25/17. Pasco County Government will continue to accept donations to assist those affected by Hurricane Irma through Sunday, September 24, 2017, with reduced operating hours through the weekend. Donated items can be dropped off at Suncoast Crossing Plaza: Pasco County Staging Area 16400 State Road 54 Odessa, FL 33556 Operating hours for the next three days are as follows: Friday, September 22 – 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, September 23 – 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, September 24 – Noon to 6 p.m. The most-needed items at this time are canned goods, preferably with pop-tops. *FEMA Workers Going Door-to-Door in Pasco County *Register for Disaster Assistance Pasco County Emergency Management wants to remind residents that Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) workers are canvassing Pasco County neighborhoods to encourage citizens to sign up for federal assistance. FEMA staff are wearing official identification and will provide contact information for verification. Residents should keep in mind that Federal, State and County government employees will not approach you in your home for cash payments. There is no fee to apply for or to receive disaster assistance from FEMA, the U.S. Small Business Administration or the State of Florida.
