Experience a weightless environment that allows your body to relax and your mind to focus on a very important person - You.    Flotation Therapy has been around for years and with people looking for an alternative to chemical medicines and with the stimulation of our daily lives being at an all time high it has once again resurfaced.

The traditional method is to relax into a small pool of water that is about 10-12 inches deep and heated to body temperature. This pool is saturated with 1200lbs. of Epsom salt which has healing properties for your skin as well as making you extremely buoyant so you can float on top of the water without trying. This gives you a sense that some compare to the feeling of the womb or being in outer-space. The most beneficial way is currently to remove as much outside stimulation as possible and to keep the room as dark and quiet as able, we do have options for having music and lighting inside the tanks for those looking mainly for physical relief.

We have taken it a step ahead by offering an inviting space for you to spend some alone time without the weight of the world on your shoulders. Zero Gravity will be installing Float Rooms which will help with people that experience claustrophobia as an alternative to the before known tanks.

Neat bit of information that some of you may have experienced while floating... those little twitches that happen while your trying to relax are called "Hypnagogic Jerks" (Hypnagogic refers to the state between waking and falling asleep) They are caused by stress and irregular sleeping patterns. Floating, with its ability to deeply relax our body and mind, allows stored tension and stress to release, and reduces cortisol—making for a less anxious, less stressed you. With each float building on the last, the accumulated stress can reduce—making for less of these jerks.

Symptoms of poor magnesium intake can include muscle cramps, facial tics, poor sleep, and chronic pain. It pays to ensure that you get adequate magnesium before signs of deficiency occur. But how can you know whether you’re getting enough? According to population studies of average magnesium intake, there’s a good chance that you’re not. Less than 30% of U.S. adults consume the Recommended Daily Allowance (RDA) of magnesium. And nearly 20% get only half of the magnesium they need daily to remain healthy.
