Designed by Al Zikorus and opened in 1967, Heritage Village Country Club winds its way throughout the Heritage Village community. Instead of designing straight away fairways, 16 of the 18 holes are majestically carved through the foothills and along the Pomperaug River.
The Club has hosted two LPGA tournaments and numerous Connecticut State Golf Association tournaments.
The course plays at 6,241 yards from the blue tees, 6,041 yards from the whites, 5,500 yards from the red tees and 5,595 yards from the gold tees.
The blue tees are rated at 71.1 with a slope of 127
The whites are rated 70.2 with a slope of 125
The reds are rated 72.1 with a slope of 126
The golf tees are rated 68.3 with a slope of 119
