Vintage Vocals with Peking and the Mystics

An A Cappella Quintet. Over the past four decades, Peking and the Mystics has toured nationally and internationally (including trips to the Far East and South America), recorded three CDs, appeared on television and radio, and been featured in local and national print media. The group’s eclectic a cappella repertoire incorporates swing, jazz, doo-wop, and pop music of every decade from the 1890s to the 2000s. Spend an evening with award winning Visual Effects Supervisor Adam Howard as he shares stories and some of the secrets of creating the impossible with directors including James Cameron, George Lucas, Steven Spielberg, David Fincher and JJ Abrams. Adam’s career in film and television spans 37 years. Beginning as one of the first digital artists on the planet he has since worked on over 130 movies including Titanic, Birdman, Star Wars Episode III (Revenge of the Sith), Star Trek, Armageddon, The River Wild, Cliffhanger, Master & Commander, Rush Hour 3, Mission Impossible, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Social Network, Seabiscuit, and Apollo 13. He has also worked on television series including Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Star Trek: Voyager, MacGyver and The Simpsons. Cape Cod Jazz Guitar Summit

Featuring nine jazz guitar players who reside on Cape Cod: Alan Clinger, Fred Fried, Paul Good, Gary Gross, Steve Hambleton, Bert Jackson, Pat Ryan, Gregg Sullivan and Andy Troyanos.
