Today we were honored to be apart of remembering Past Captain Winifred Hartvigsen of Dover Brick Beach First Aid Squad, Squad 17. Winnie will be remember by many and never forgotten. She had many accomplishments during her life, one big one being the first female President of the New Jersey First Aid Council. Rest In Peace Winnie.

We would like to remind everyone that when ever you see flashing lights on the side of the road, whether is be a police car, ambulance, fire truck, or tow truck, please move over 1 lane if safe to do so and reduce your speed.

Ambulance 378 and Ambulance 376 responded to the Garden State Parkway entrance ramp at mile marker 80 in South Toms River for a motor vehicle accident. No serious injuries were reported, one person transported to the hospital. South Toms River Police Department and the New Jersey State Police also responded.
