En Power & Light consists of three individuals whose mission is to encourage, excite, and propel people from where they are to where they want to be. Their sound is a mixed bag, including folk/blues/soul steeped in rich three part harmony. Even though this is their first album as a trio, their performing together has some history. Scott and Paul are brothers, who have played together for almost 10 years. Paul and Lezlee were married in the winter of 2010, and not till recently had ever sang together. The three together create a "hypnotizing" harmonic blend that is truly something special. Patti and I love these people…come to the show and you’ll see why! We are located at 3681 South Lincoln Park Drive (340 e.) Patti and Johnny love the idea of opening our home to outstanding touring artists who perform in a cozy, intimate setting for you. House concerts are an amazing way to enjoy live music with friends, neighbors and connect with the artist in a more personal way. We are a 21 and over kind of place. All of the concerts at Mac House ‘n Pub begin at 7:00 P.M., bring something to eat (we’ll have the main dish) as we gather around 6:00 to chat, eat and imbibe something you bring or one of my beers on tap. A voluntary suggested donation of $10-20 per person to the musicians is requested. Remember, 100% of all contributions go directly to the performers!

Jalan Crossland was here last October and will be back May 24th. He is playing at the State Room on the 25th and has graciously agreed to play at the Mac House N Pub the night before. So come and show your support for this Wyoming native! He was easily one of our favorite shows last year and we are excited to have him come back and play! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vtf1faVof6g&feature=youtu.be

Round two for Nathan, last year he put on a great show...hope you can make! Starting his solo career in 2005; with the release of his first full length record "Grand Design," to present day, Nathan McEuen has written nearly 80 songs, produced five full length records, and has independently sold over 60,000 CDs. The past 10 years has been a non-stop musical adventure filled with over 2,000 live shows across the U.S.A., Canada & Europe with highlight performances including: The Grand Ole Opry (3 times), American Idol (w/ Steve Martin), The Tonight Show (w/ Hanna-McEuen), Music City Roots, XM/Sirius Radio, iTunes, Yahoo.com's Ram Country, Voice of America Radio, Woodsongs, The Stagecoach Festival and climbing to a #1 spot on Amazon.com's Americana chart with his collaborative effort "The McEuen Sessions." While growing up on the road and traveling around the world with his father John McEuen (of the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band), Nathan's first big solo performance came at 14 years old when he was asked by his father to sing a song and play guitar at the Olympic Bid Party for the International Olympic Committee in downtown Salt Lake City, on March of 1995… Nathan's father is known for going big, but Nathan had no idea until he arrived at the venue that he'd be performing outdoors at the Gallivan Center for over 15,000 people, his face would be on a Jumbo Tron and that he was opening for John Denver. It was this experience that would forever change his life… With over 2,500 live shows, 20 years of touring, and nearly 80 songs penned, Nathan McEuen's heritage, passion for original music, entertaining and performing is evident in every song, and is best experienced through his live shows and on his newest record "Side by Side" (Me All of the concerts at Mac House ‘n Pub begin at 7:00 P.M., bring something to eat (we’ll have the main dish) as we gather around 6:00 to chat, eat and imbibe something you bring or one of my beers on tap. Ready? Hell-Yes I’m ready, it’s the day before we leave for Summer Break, and flee the land of DABC, and I’m frickin’ excited about this year’s biggest event-the Annual Holiday Adult Beverage eXchange...it won't be the same without you! A big plus is its Patti Mac’s birthday, a chance to celebrate with the lady that lights my life! We’ll be gathering between 5:30 to 6:30-ish at the Mac House 'n Pub (3681 so. Lincoln Park Drive [340 e}), to socialize, imbibe and graze. The exchange will begin at 6:30 p.m.sharp! What you bring is up to you, as long as it's well, it's alcohol…twenty-five dollars (OK, if you made it this far, I need to air some laundry, In the past, a few folk haven't been very thoughtful about what they brought or nice about getting something they didn't want...so really think about what you bring, you have almost half a year to gather something up.) is a great place to start. A nice bottle of Cabernet, mega bottles of Quad-IPAs, or maybe a 5th of Jack, Jim, Mark, Johnny, you know the boys. This year I'm thinking of one of those cool gift boxes with glasses (I wrote this last year and still brought beer and glasses), this way, most people have a chance of ending up with something they actually like, and it is much more entertaining. Well draw playing cards “Two card 21”, low card opens the first wrapped bottle…second person can either steal the exposed bottle or pick one from the pile. A gift can only be stolen three times, and cannot be stolen directly from the person who stole...let the game begin. No dinner, just bring something you and others would love to nibble on as we celebrate the Solstice (Christmas) Season! Johnny and Patti Mac Sittin' on g...Waitin' on o...I'm exactly where...I want to go

Born in the mountains of Evergreen, Colorado, Abby Posner began studying music and performance at age six. A gifted pint sized pianist, she quickly picked up guitar, drums, bass, banjo, and mandolin, and has continued to master new instruments throughout her career. Posner moved to Los Angeles in 2002 to advance her musical training at California Institute of the Arts, where she concentrated on both world percussion and composition for songwriting. Upon moving to Los Angeles, Abby began performing live with a number of bands in the LA area, establishing a name for herself as a multi-talented artist. Abby writes for several prominent music licensing companies, including Ear Parade and Frameworks, through which her songs are regularly picked up for commercial and film placements. She has scored two feature length documentaries, and her original song “The King and She” will debut in Old Fashioned, a feature film set for nationwide release on Valentines Day 2015. Abby played banjo and guitar in 2 episodes on season four of GLEE, and has two compositions in rotation on the wildly popular radio show This American Life. Posner started working on her solo project, now called Abby and The Myth, in February of 2011. She released her first album The Gatherer and The Thief and shortly after released a follow-up album titled For You, The Spring. Along with her second album, Abby released The Fall Sessions, a 3 song bonus EP featuring Abby playing every instrument, which she recorded and produced herself in her home studio. In 2013 Abby slowly began fleshing out her live shows, integrating accordion, banjo, upright bass, and drums for rich instrumentation that showcases her sensitivity as an arranger. The band, composed of musicians Abby met through various musical projects around LA, coalesced and became The Myth. Abby and The Myth have created a unique, infectiously catchy indie bluegrass rock sound that’s garnering major attention. Fans compare Abby and The Myth to Mumford and Sons, The Lumineers, and Matthew and The Atlas. Their catchy harmonies, feel- good rhythms and sing-along choruses make for a lively, kinetic show that invariably has audiences up on their feet and dancing. Cara Batema, on accordion, adds tasty melodic ornamentation and winsome drones to thicken the chorus breakdowns, Donovan Bullen plays energetic upright bass lines with heart-tugging harmonies, and Kristen Gleeson-Prata’s nuanced and virtuosic drumming adds a range of styles and flavors to the mix. As an ensemble, Abby and The Myth is going to take the nation by storm. We are located at 3681 South Lincoln Park Drive (340 e.)
