Relay For Life is a life-changing event that helps communities across the globe celebrate the lives of people who have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost, and fight back against the disease. Event Date: Saturday, May 16, 2015
Event Time: 12:00PM - 10:00PM
Event Location: Denny Stadium
All day relay-style event
Teams of people camp out around the track
Members of each team take turns walking around the track for the duration of the event
Food, games and activities provide entertainment and fundraising opportunities
Family-friendly environment for the entire community
Because it’s a Relay, you’re not required to be there the entire time…but it’s so fun, you’ll probably find it hard to leave!

facebook.comAs another Relay For Life - South River, NJ comes to a close, I would like to take a moment to thank everyone who came out yesterday, in not the best weather (rain again, and very cool temperatures) to participate. Without all of you Relay would not be possible. I am truly overwhelmed by our little community of fighters. People came and went all day, but for those who made it through our beautiful Luminaria Ceremony, thank you for your love and support in the fight against cancer. To my unbelievable committee, there are no words for how much I admire what you do. You are my hereos. To all our sponsord and vendors that gave up their time to help us, thank you from the bottom of my heart. To the SRPD and SRFD, you rock, not only at Relay but everyday. Lastly to all our Relay Teams, your hard work never goes unnoticed. Congratulations 🎊 to our number one team LFS, who blew everyone out of the water, great job! When they say Relay is a community event, there are no truer words. Until next year, start praying for better weather, love and wellness to all.
