Physicians, nurses, and staff are dedicated to providing quality, professional, and compassionate medical care.

fully-accredited by The Joint Commission
American Heart Association certified
an approved provider for Medi-Cal and Medicare programs.

We are proud to announce that Greater El Monte Community Hospital won the Mother-Baby Friendly Work Place Award for our Mother’s Lounge. We were the only hospital, statewide to win the award. Representatives from GEMCH accepted the award at the State Capital in Sacramento. Greater El Monte Community Hospital supports breastfeeding and is proud to offer the Mother’s Lounge to our employees. Greater El Monte Community Hospital welcomes our new RN Grads! Nurses play an integral role in the management of care for our patients. They are often the first line of care you will see. Our Nurses provide comfort both to the patient and family. They educate patients about their next steps to better health and recovery. Their job is to give optimal care and help guide the patient to recovery as part of the health care team. In addition, our Nurses use evidenced-based practices to better educate patients about living healthier lifestyles. On behalf of Greater El Monte Community Hospital, we welcome our new RN Grads!
