See Description With Mrs. Foster, Mr. Lalli, and Mr. Bohning, you never know what you are going to learn. The legal system is beyond huge and has many career pathways that students can enter after high school. Curriculum is as follows:
Freshman Year: Center for Emerging Technologies. Students in the Center for Emerging Technologies academy will rotate through Legal and Protective Services, Environmental, and Engineering. Students will then choose the shop my third quarter that they wish to major in.
Sophomore Year: Introduction to Youth Court. Students who decide to major in Legal and Protective Services will be introduced to the Youth Court System Sophomore Year. Students will be trained before they are able to become involved in Youth Court.
Junior Year: Legal Seminar and Security & Surveillance. Students will have two courses in one day. For the first half of the day, students will learn more about crimes and famous individuals through the eyes of the Legal System. During the second half of the day, students learn how to wire security systems, monitors, etc.
Senior Year: Advanced Legal Practice & Theory and Forensic & Crime Scene Investigation. Like Junior Year, the day is split. For the first half of the day, students will go more in-depth with crimes and goes more in-depth with what was taught during Legal Seminar. The second half of the day is where students study crime scene investigation. Students learn how to lift fingerprints, footprints, find evidence at a crime scene, etc.
