To give you a little bit of background about myself I am a fully insured and bonded pet sitter. After just over a year of working for a professional pet sitting company I fell in love with the business and decided to set out on my own! Walk & Play was born October 2012. Last year I added a partner, my husband Dave. This year we have added my mother Christine.They both have been trained and are fully insured and bonded.

Over the years I've owned several dogs, (as well as cats, birds, fish, hamsters and even a guinea pig!) and feel a strong connection to them. I'm an avid fan of Cesar Milan and I often use similar methods with my clients. Knowledge is also very important to me and I continue to learn more and more about breeds, animal safety, First Aid/CPR and training methods.

A free in home consultation visit is offered and includes: a meet and greet to make sure that you and your pet(s) are comfortable with us, a walk through your home to get familiar with the area. We would then go over rates, policies and procedures and some questions about your pet(s) to make sure that we get all the details. We also enjoy a little stroll with our pup clients (weather permitting) to see how they are on leash. The last thing needed would be two copies of the house key. The consultation visit usually takes one and a half hours.

Business hours for customer inquiry are 9AM-6PM and visit times are 8AM-8PM. Daily dog walks are done Monday-Friday and vacation visits (pet sitting) are available Monday-Sunday.
