Description
Success Academy is a tuition-free public K-5 primary school serving South Bend. We teach critical thinking and problem solving using project-based learning Welcome to Success Academy!
Since 2015 it has been the Mission of Success Academy South Bend to create an environment that develops a sense of belonging, respect, value, engagement and true grit in every student. Faculty and Staff strive to instill in each student the ability to succeed in establishing and maintaining an engaging innovative and entrepreneurial culture with the overarching Vision to Prepare Students for LIFE.
Success Academy’s grade levels and classrooms are organized into small learning communities to give the students an overall immersive learning experience. These classrooms consist of a group of modular spaces placed around a central flex area. This design allows for the individual rooms to adapt to different space requirements on a class-by-class basis. This gives teachers the ability to have many smaller size classrooms or one large one for cooperative classroom projects and events.

The 5th Grade had their first field trip to the South Bend History Museum today! Students had a blast learning about the history of the South Bend area! #PreparedToBeAmazed
Miss Finamore’s class integrated Place value and geography...identifying the populations of cities and states, comparing and ordering them, charting them on a map, and practicing teamwork!!
Miss Finamore and Mrs. Hamilton’s classes enjoyed a guest speaker from WSBT, Dayne Marae! She gave them advice about their school news show! Check out the news show Monday’s starting in September!

Mrs. Hamilton and Miss Finamore’s classes traveled abroad to Guatemala today! They boarded Air Success and went through security checkpoint Fecher. Our virtual field trip took us through the lands of Guatemala!
