10,000 seat arena The Tyson Events Center is home to the Sioux City Musketeers, the Sioux City Bandits and NAIA college tournaments. Along with sporting events, the 10,000 seat arena plays host to events like Bull Riding, Monster Trucks and WWE. Sioux City is proud to welcome the annual NAIA Division II Women’s Basketball National Championship, presented by Mercy Medical Center and Seaboard Triumph Foods, at the Tyson Events Center. The championship will feature the 32 top women’s basketball teams from across the country, competing in a single-elimination championship. Spectra, by Comcast Spectacor, the providers of Venue Management, Food Services & Hospitality, and Partnerships to the Tyson Events Center and Orpheum Theater, will host an Employment Fair on Tuesday, February 20 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. The event, which is open to the public, will take place in the hospitality room of the Tyson Events Center. Those attending can enter through the main box office. Attendees may fill out applications on-site and interview for the following positions: ticket office representatives, ushers, building attendants, maintenance technician, event security, cooks, servers, catering manager, porters, captains, and dish washers.

On Saturday, April 21, 2018, at the Tyson Events Center in Sioux City, IA, multi-Grammy Award-winner Bill Gaither will host a spectacular evening of music, laughter and encouragement featuring the talent of the prestigious Gaither Vocal Band. This past fall, the Gaither Vocal Band celebrated the release of their brand new recording, We Have This Moment, produced by famed country and gospel music performer and studio musician Gordon Mote.
