Welcome to Ray Thompson's Upstate Karate Family Martial Arts Center, serving the Upstate since 1983 and home of Stephen "Wonderboy" Thompson. We are dedicated to helping others develop confidence through self defense skills. Currently the United Martial Arts Association ranks us in the top 10 Martial Arts schools in the United States, Canada, Australia, and Great Britain. Our modern teaching techniques focus on the nature and structure of conflicts, and how we can resolve them peacefully. Safety is always our greatest concern. We have a genuine interest in our student's progress and development. Our staff is willing to go the extra mile for you!

Due to the severe weather and possible tornadoes We WILL NOT be open for classes tonight. Parents with children in after school, we will be picking them up and transporting them to the karate school. Please pick up your children as soon as possible to be safe. We will see you all tomorrow.
