Wurlitzer Player Piano, coin operated, lighted stain glass, WORKS! This piano needs love, but has the coin mechanisms, lights to make the stain glass shine, and plays well both by key and by scroll! It managed to hold it's tune fairly well in the move and has a nice tone. There are some cracks in the stained glass and two panels are missing. The keys have ivory, but some pieces are not attached and teh keys were painted white. I have kept the pieces that fall off for easy matching or repair. This beauty is marked The Rudolph Wurlitzer Company, El Paso Furniture Company. The serial number is 18984 (C. 1913-1914 ish) See pictures for details related to condition. As my regular and not so regular customers know, I am SEVERELY allergic to coffee. It is clearly posted at the front door that no coffee is permitted in the store. And, if someone misses the sign, I confirm that the cup of beverage is coffee before offering a place in the hall to safely leave their coffee. All beverages are welcome in my store. Today, that all occurred; and rather than honor my request to leave the coffee in the hall; this customer debated with me that the allergy does not exist and that I am “making it up.” So, not only have I been thrown in to a panic that I may be about to have a severe asthma attack, she stands in my store and hallway and tells me I am a liar and asks if I know how many “ hundreds of dollars [she] has spent in [my] store. I wonder…is it enough to cover the day of work I will miss after having such a severe asthma attack, is it enough to cover my insurance bills, doctor bills, and medication bills? I don’t care if someone tells you they allergic to the color yellow…you respect a posted sign, you respect the wishes of the person making the request, and you respect a person to whom you claim to be a loyal customer. And to the customer who came in after you with a cup of water (and every other polite person of the past and future), who saw the coffee sign and asked if it was OK to bring in water…yes! And, thank you for asking!

Oh man! My store is FULL! This week I received three truck loads of antiques, two truck loads of random cutes, and a few things from an estate I'm working on. And, it's only Thursday! Better come in and see all the treasures!
