I am with you always. Matthew 28:20 Lord, we pray for those who are lonely. We pray that you will give them comfort. Please show us how we can help those we come in contact with that are lonely and sad. In Jesus' name. Amen.

We must rest in God. Psalm 23:3 tells us "He restores my soul." No matter what you are going through he knows your trouble and your pain. Lord God, when all we seem to have are our tears, please give us your peace, through Christ Jesus. Amen.

Let us also lay aside every weight and the sin that clings so closely. Hebrews 12:1 Lord Jesus, forgive our sins, especially those that we hang on to. Help us to lean on you and remember that you are in control. In your name. Amen.

In your presence there is fullness of joy. Psalm 16:11 God, our refuge, thank you for welcoming us home to your loving presence, through Christ. Amen.

I trust in the steadfast love of God forever and ever. Psalm 52:8 Lord Jesus, we are thirsty. Quench our need for joy and peace in your everlasting love today. Yours is a love that never fails, it is constant and eternal. We thank you for your gift of the cross. In Jesus' name. Amen.

I pray these verses will comfort you who have lost loved ones. Isaiah 43:2 “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.” Psalm 18:28 “You, Lord, keep my lamp burning; my God turns my darkness into light.” Psalm 46:1-2 “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea.” To God be the glory!
