Sidney Health Center is a not-for-profit community based medical center
that has been serving people in the MonDak region for more than 100 years.
Our passion for caring is shared by the doctors, nurses, and several hundred
employees and volunteers. Located in the heart of Richland County, the attractive Eastern Montana campus
includes an acute care hospital, clinic area, retail pharmacy and an extended care facility offering a complete range of services from birth through end-of-life,
which is complemented by an array of outreach services.

Sidney Health Center will be hosting a Blood Drive by the American Red Cross on Wednesday, June 21st in the Healthworks Group Fitness room. Make an appointment to donate blood at www.redcrossblood.org and enter the sponsor code sidneyhealth or call 1-800-695-7258 to make an appointment. In 2016, Sidney Health Center transfused 272 units of red blood cells, 10 units of plasma, and 9 units of platelets. From January 1st of this year to the end of May, we have already transfused 90 units of red blood cells and 10 units of plasma! We hope you will consider donating to help save lives!

Sidney Health Center is fortunate to have so many employees that not only support our mission with the work they do every day, but that also believe in supporting the Foundation for Community Care to keep quality healthcare in our community. Through contributions to the Foundation’s endowment fund, Sidney Health Center is able to purchase new equipment for improved services and much more. Thank you for supporting local healthcare!

Each May, Sidney Health Center employees hold a “May-ke A Pledge” fundraising drive for the Foundation for Community Care's Endowment Fund. This year the Food Service Department decided to do an extra fundraiser for the campaign, selling chances to pie one of four food service employees. Today the winners were selected and pies were thrown! Such a fun way to raise funds to benefit local health care!

It’s National Nursing Home Week and at Sidney Health Center Extended Care we are grateful for the opportunity to take care of the community members needing our assistance. We are also proud to be a 5 star rated facility by the U.S. Government Nursing Home Compare, having received 5 out of 5 stars for the last 4 quarters. The rating takes into consideration the results of our annual survey, the results from quality measures implemented and the staffing ratio on a quarterly basis.
