The restaurant was named after Betty Carol Howell, who is the daughter of the owner and cook Phuong (Aka Kim) Rieke, who passed away. The idea of starting this restaurant has always been a part of Kim Phuong's dream, but finally came to life when her old employer, The Clarette Club, was bought out by another restaurant. Kim Phuong had the options of retiring or working part time, but insisted on making this restaurant a reality of finally having her own place.
Kim Phuong has a full family and support system behind her with 5 kids and an endless amount of great/grand children who will be there to help and for you to meet at the restaurant throughout the week.
When deciding on the food and the atmosphere of Betty C's, Kim Phuong wanted to make it a place where everyone felt welcome and a place where they could always count on good food and service. Her menu is a mix of bar and grill foods with some of her home made specialties such as: Egg Rolls, Crab Rangoon's, Ruben Roll Ups, Spinach Dip, Pork Tenderloin, Chicken Strips and different soups. There will also be daily specials that are all made from scratch.
