Slide Rock State Park
Description
The park is named after the famous Slide Rock, a stretch of slippery creek bottom adjacent to the homestead. Visitors may slide down a slick natural water chute or wade and sun along the creek.

This morning we had 26 girl scouts volunteer a total of 125 hours (between everyone) to help clean up our park. They did a variety of service projects including; scrubbing and washing every picnic table, sweeping out the ramadas, cleaning out every grill, and picking up trash in the parking lot, picnic area, creek & highway. Thank you so much girls! Our park is sparkling clean and looking beautiful because of your help. 😃
