Attention Incoming Kindergartners! Just a reminder that we have organized two Kindergarten playdates this Summer to help the kids (and parents) get acquainted with one another before the first day of school. They are held on the Alki Playground and are very casual. The first one is next Wednesday, July 20th (5:00 - 6:00 PM) The second is Saturday, August 27 (10:00 - 11:00 AM) Look for PTA Executive Board members (the moms with name tags) to answer any questions and tell you all about our wonderful school! Thank you Alki Staff for making this morning's "Volunteer Breakfast" so special. From the super creative Pirate Theme, to the delicious food (how can we get that cheesy, garlic grits recipe?) and adorable video from our students. We all felt incredibly "TREASURED". THANK YOU!

THIS JUST IN! There was a scheduling mishap, so instead of tomorrow... we have been notified that Clothes for the Cause is coming TODAY to pick up. The drop-off trailer at school is behind the cafeteria to make it easy for turn-in. Donations will benefit Alki Elementary to purchase Emergency Comfort Kits for the children of Alki. BIG REMINDER - Anything left in the Lost and Found will be donated to the drive. PLEASE have your kids reclaim their items before they are gone!!!
