    Under a new General Manager for the past year, The Cafe has gotten back to our roots as the classic, uptown "cafe" restaurant you remember with excellent food & excellent service.  The Cafe (Open 22 years and counting) is a roundabout 50's style full service restaurant that offers an old-fashioned City Market experience with amazing food ranging from Cajun to Italian, Seafood to Southern food, & Specialty Dishes to Sandwiches.  Feeling Mediterranean? Try our Greek Salad with Grilled Chicken.  When in the South, eat like the Southerners do with our Southern Pecan Chicken Salad or our Creole Shrimp, Grits, & Collard Greens (Best in town!).  Maybe a Whiskey Ribeye for dinner or a Grilled Cheese & Sliced Ribeye Sandwich for lunch if your in the mood for steak. Where ever your appetite takes you, its a must to finish with our unbelievably delicious Homemade Georgia Peach Cobbler.
     Our staff will take excellent care of you and will accommodate you in any way possible and to the best of our ability.  We aim to present you with upscale cordiality while keeping it casual and friendly. We have great options for kids, we accept large walk-in parties, and of course take reservations.  Our patio offers a cool haven from the summer sun and a great view of Historic City Market (where there's live music on the weekends), and the New Ellis Square while you dine. Inside is a great break from the busy market. Our runway style dinning room and open kitchen offers the fun, cozy, and friendly style of a family owned restaurant (which we are!).
