U.S. Coast Guard Icebreaker Bristol Bay keeping the channel open for ships. The Soo Locks will be closing for the season in just over a week.
The footprints looks like they came together at one point and there was white fur on the ice. I guess there is a lot of different activity in the Soo during the winter.
The tour boats are frozen in for the winter and ice is building across the channel. We are seeing various foot prints of animals on the snow covered ice on the river especially with the dip in temperatures.
