Memorial Day Events Planned For The Area

Hello, everyone. Just a quick reminder that Aux. Burger Night is on Wed. May 31st from 4:30-7:30pm, so stop in after a long holiday and let the club cook the burgers! PS. Don't forget to stop in tonight and take advantage of happy hour during the NHL playoff game that begins at 7pm. The hockey game may even inspire you to try a $4.00 pint of our newest tap beer the "Mad Butcher!" Hope to see you soon at the VFW 6992.

Thursday, May 25 A RICH HISTORY: Learn how to find military records and how to identify uniforms or other military items when Doug Thompson speaks at 6 p.m. at the Mississippi Room in the St. Cloud Public Library. Thompson is collection specialist at the Minnesota Military Museum at Camp Ripley. You can bring items you want him to identify and share stories in a "show and tell" format.

On Mon. night May 22nd, we will have bingo beginning at 6:30pm at the VFW. This will be the last bingo for awhile, so let's have a strong showing! The "901 GRILLE" will be open from 4-8pm. The bingo special will be a Salisbury steak, mashed potatoes, and corn for $5.00 + tax. Hope to see you Mon. night for bingo at the club! PS. Don't forget that the VFW has happy hour during every Sunday Twins game! Now that's even better than a Miguel Sano home run!

A quick question for everyone. Who was the best character on the Brady Bunch? No it wasn't Marcia, but she was a close second- it was Sam the butcher! At the VFW we also have a butcher, but this butcher serves up a great IPA taste! We are now serving on tap Mad Butcher from the Mankato brewery. The Mad Butcher is an American IPA with ripe tropical fruit flavors, a citrus zest, and a touch of a honey flavor stemming from the malt that will have you asking for another pint! So stop in at the club today, and play a couple of meat raffles & try the Mad Butcher. PS. The "901 GRILLE" will be open from 4-8pm.

Rib Night consists of a $10 rack of ribs with all the fixins from the Texas Roadhouse!! The VVA will also have a meat raffle beginning at 5pm. The "901 GRILLE" will be closed.
