IMPORTANT RECITAL & REHEARSAL INFO! Please read! - Dress Rehearsal will be open to parents, however if you need to talk please do so outside of the theatre. There is not to be any photos or videos taken during rehearsal or you will be asked to leave. The dancers need to be focused as we are only given a limited time to work. - Once your dancer is at the theatre they may not leave until the duration of the show. Older dancers are also not allowed to leave. Again, this is for safety, so please have everything you may need. - During the afternoon and evening, we will have snacks for the little ones. (Goldfish, fruit snacks and waters) but please let me know if your child has an allergy. You may also pack your own snacks for your dancer. Please make sure they are clean snacks and nothing that may ruin or stain their costume. - Coloring and crafts will be available for the girls to play while they wait to dance. Parents please enjoy the show and know your dancer is in the best hands and having a fantastic time. (If there was an emergency, you would be informed immediately). - All dancers will be dropped off on the EAST side stage door for check in. Parents can then enter from the front of the theatre. This is for the safety and organization of the show. NO PARENTS are permitted backstage! We will have staff available to help your dancer with their things. - At the close of the recital Miss. Kourtney will dismiss the creative dancers from the stage. - Please make sure all dancers have all their proper costumes, make up, tights, dance shoes, etc - Dancers who will be at the theatre the majority of the day will need snacks and food. We will be providing sandwiches and some food, but can't guarantee it will be enough for all. Again, dancers are not permitted to leave once they have been checked in. - All dancers will need their purple Powerhouse t-shirt along with black leggings, shirts, etc for the Finale number. (Make sure underwear is also packed) - All dancers (besides creative dance) will be dismissed from the same side stage door they were dropped off. This again is for safety and organization of the show. Miss. Kourtney will not dismiss any dancer to anyone unless I know the mom, dad, grandma, etc. - Reminder to go online and buy your tickets before the show and pick your seats. Tickets are $20 each. - Recital DVD's are available for purchase! Sign up in the studio and pay to reserve your video of the show. $35 each. -Please make sure your dancer is not missing any classes the last 4 weeks. It is imperative that they are there to finalize recital dances or they may be removed or their spot reworked for a routine. THIS IS GOING TO BE AN INCREDIBLE SHOW! You can see Danielle during the first two weeks of Intensives. Trust me when I say she is an extraordinary artist. Born and raised in Tampa, FL, Danielle Dominguez has trained for over 20 years in the styles of contemporary, jazz, hip-hop, lyrical, and ballet. She quickly found her love and passion for teaching and has been molding young dancers and choreographing since the age of 16. Some might know Danielle from season 9 of SYTYCD as the “bacon girl” with her unique style of dancing; however, many people can recognize her elsewhere. Under the instruction of Travis wall, one of Danielle’s proudest accomplishments include being cast for a part in, “Step Up 4” the movie, as contemporary dancer Vera Williams where she danced along side some of the best dancers in the commercial world including, Nick Lazzarini, Billy Bell, Teddy Forance, and Kathryn McCormick. Other credits include dancing for Booty Firm with Mark Ballas (DWTS), Choreographing and dancing in Set It Off’s Music Video, “Ancient History”, Joshua Cruz’s Music Video, “Shutting it Down”, MAC Cosmetics, Publix, Kash n’ Karry, BMW, Porsche, Audi, Nickelodeon, and Disney. While finding time in her schedule to pursue other dance opportunities, Danielle is apart of the faculty at The Tampa Modern Dance Company as well as The Urban Dance Experience Convention and devotes her time to teaching and choreographing for her home studio, Centerstage Dance Academy in Tampa, FL in addition to other studios around the country.
