4-3-18 Trione-Annadel State Park continues to operate under the previously published closure orders (2-17-18) due to the wildfires. Trails currently CLOSED include: Schultz, Lawndale, Pig Flat, Rhyolite, Ridge, Marsh between Two Quarry and Ridge, and the entire Ledson Marsh area. Park staff are working diligently on plans for further trail re-openings. Some re-opening efforts may be delayed due to large storm events such as forecast for Friday, April 6. Please check the official Trione-Annadel State Park website for updates, or call the park office at 707-539-3911. Messages will be returned as staff time allows.

2-24-18 Successfully registered and trained 41 New Trail Patrol Volunteers today! We welcomed new Foot Patrol, Bike Patrol and Equestrian Patrol to our Volunteer Program. Some of the New Volunteers also offered to be Hike Leaders. If you would like to become a registered on-going State Park volunteer, all we ask is 4 hours a month or 48 hours minimum per year. A variety of volunteer opportunities are available: sign up for one or more, your choice. To find out about the next New Volunteer Training date for Trione-Annadel SP, please email Volunteer Coordinator Sarah Reid (sarah.reid@parks.ca.gov). Check out the information about our Volunteer Program on the Trione-Annadel SP webpage. (Bike and Horse Patrol must provide their own mounts.)

2-17-18 Taken by a trail-opening volunteer of Ledson Lake -- uh, that is Ledson MARSH -- as it looks right now. This area is still off-limits to all visitors and volunteers as it is more sensitive than ever. It needs time to regenerate, renew, regrow, and for biologists to determine the health of Federally Protected species which reside here. Also the two bridges burned and will be re-built. The cattails burned completely off. The Marsh was dry as dry can be the weeks of the Nunn's Fire. The little bit of rain we gotten has created the wetlands you see. Stay tuned for more trail openings and for volunteer work days to recover the areas and re-build those bridges. Until then, please respect the closures for the sake of our beloved park.
