Description
Compassion Without Borders is dedicated to providing a brighter future to animals on both sides of the border. We are a grassroots 501c3 non-profit Compassion Without Borders was founded in 2001 by Christi and Moncho Camblor . The focus of our organization is to alleviate the suffering of unwanted companion animals in Mexico and other low resource regions in the US through a multifaceted approach which includes international rescue efforts, extensive spay/neuter campaigns, humane euthanasia and humane education.
Our board is made up of veterinarians and professional animal advocates with decades of experience from around the country. We are staffed by nearly 100% volunteer labor – which means 100% of all donations can go directly toward our work!

Thatcher is ready to say hello! This adorable little guy is now available for adoption! His head is a little tilted due to an ear infection but he are hopeful it will get better! Either way he is very cute and very sweet! At only 7 lbs he makes a great lap dog. The Meximutts are almost here! They have been traveling for the past 36 hours from our rescue center in Mexico, after having been bathed and prepped for their big migration and they will be arriving to our shelter in California any minute….stay tuned for the live feed when they get here!!!!!! Compassion Knows NO Borders.

Why are all our Meximutts so excited this Monday morning???? Because they are heading north in just a few short hours. CWOB co-founder Moncho Camblor is working with our Mexico team to load up the dogs at this very moment - stay tuned for live updates as they make their big migration north. This is what love looks like. Incredible surgery clinic today with so many beautiful animals helped. Amazing team of volunteer professionals who all came out and spent their Sundays working their hardest to bring quality care to animals in need. So many individual lives helped in just one day. Also want to give a big thanks to our partners at the Humane Society of Sonoma County for allowing us to use their surgical space. Compassion is a verb!

Say hello to the newest crew of volunteer dog walkers! These awesome folks will be helping us get our dogs some much deserved exercise and love. And a special thanks to the 3 lovely women who just became certified mentors! They will be integral in helping train the volunteers. We are so excited to have you all!
