Description
Santa Rosa's beautifully maintained, tree lined, picturesque and affordable golf course open to the public. The Bennett Valley Golf Course opened in 1969 and is located at the base of Bennett Peak where Matanzas Creek meanders throughout the tree lined course. Along with the native oaks, redwoods and pines, amongst others, have been added to further enhance the beauty of the golf course. It is truly in a country atmosphere without the clutter of houses distracting from this natural setting. Reconstructed greens, along with what has been considered to be one of best maintained courses in the area, has consistently given Bennett Valley Golf Course the reputation as "the best value" in Northern California.
The Par 72/6500 yard course (from the tips) will begin a 5 year fairway sanding program in 2011 to help turn this course into a year round treat. While you're here, after using the course or our driving range (with both natural grass and artificial mats), you can also enjoy the newly constructed full - service bar and restaurant with an expansive outdoor patio overlooking the course and practice putting green.
